Chapter 27
Nadia rolled her eyes. She didn’t care at all. She just wanted to teach Jenna a lesson.
Jenna picked another dress and Nadia snatched it too.
She picked a few other dresses and Nadia did the same thing.
When Jenna had picked enough, she turned to face Nadia. She had a calm smile on her face. It was a sharp contrast to the ferecious look that Nadia had on.
“Do you know me Miss?” Jenna finally spoke up.
Nadia who was starting to feel spooked out by Jenna’s silence finally calmed down when Jenna talked.
“Who do you think you are? Why do I need to know you? I’m just here to pick up clothes. Stop thinking too much of yourself!” Nadia said.
Even Bella was embarrassed now. She didn’t want to admit that Nadia is her friend. Can’t Nadia see that she’s just embarrassing herself here?
“You don’t know me? thought you did. You even offered to pick up my clothes for me. With the way you look, I don’t think that you work here. So why are you holding the clothes for me if you don’t know me?” Jenna asked. She had a confused look on her face, like she really didn’t understand why Nadia is doing this.
Nadia felt completely speechless. She definitely wasn’t expecting such a response.
“Who said..who said that I’m picking clothes out for you?? I’m just picking what i want to wear! What does it have to do with you?? Stop thinking so highly of yourself!” Nadia said.
“Oh really? But you took the clothes away from me as soon as I picked them. What is the meaning of this?” Jenna asked. She still looked calm which made the agitated Nadia look like an idiot.
“I’m really sorry Miss. My friend has had too much to drink today! We are just going to leave now!” Bella said. She felt too embarrassed to stay here any longer.

“Why do I have to give her back the dress?? It’s not like I can’t afford it! I can definitely afford all of these Clothes! Who is she?? Can she afford any single thing here?” Nadia asked. She was used to meeting women who aren’t as rich as her so even though she knew that Jenna must not be poor, she could not help subconsciously thinking of
Jenna like that.
Jenna suddenly had a wicked idea. Since this woman wants to play, she will make sure to play her to death.
“Do you want all of these clothes?” Jenna asked.
“Yes! I want all of them!” Nadia demanded.
Just then, a sales person walked hurriedly to them.
“Ma’ams please let’s not argue. We can talk this out” The sales person said. From the clothes they were wearing, she could tell that the three women are obviously not poor people.
She didn’t want to make any one of them mad since it means that she might be losing a potential customer.
Nadia turned to face the sales person angrily. “Do you think that I have the time to argue with her? She’s the one who won’t let this go and who insists on having the same dress as me! Who does she think she is?? Anyone with eyes can definitely see that I’ll pull this dress off even better than she will!” Nadia said.
“But..she’s the one who picked it first and you were the one who took it from her” the sales person said timidly.
She had seen everything that happened and frankly, Nadia was just looking for trouble.
What?! Are you saying that I’m lying?! Who do you think you are? My cheapest dress costs more than your entire month’s salary! Do you want me to complain to your manager so you can get fired?” Nadia asked.
…..The sales person immediately shifted back in fear. She didn’t want to lose this job at all.
It’s okay” Jenna said to the maid.
There’s a way for us to solve this without resorting to insults and violence” Jenna said.
adia looked at Jenna suspiciously. She had a bad feeling that Jenna was planning a huge trap for her.
What do you mean?” Nadia asked.

“The person who can pay more for the clothes will take it” Jenna said. She was willing to gamble on this. Anyway, the money isn’t hers. She isn’t the one who will feel the pinch.
Nadia suddenly burst out laughing. Jenna wants to use money to compete with her?
“You really want to compete with me? Alright! Let’s do this! I’ll pay two times the ammout for this dress! How about that?” Nadia asked. She raised her eyebrow provocatively.
Jenna was still calm. She wants to teach Nadia a lesson. It doesn’t matter what her relationship with Axiel is, but she should not foolishly come bother her.
“Just two times more? Fine I’ll offer four times more!” Jenna said.
Nadia gasped when she heard this. She suddenly felt a shill. Four times more is a whole lot of money. She had a bad feeling that Jenna is just setting up a huge trap for her to fall into,
But if she refuses to do it, she will just be disgracing herself. She is the one who acted like she has all the money in the world.
Most importantly, Nadia didn’t want to lose to Jenna at all.
“Fine! I’ll pay five times more! Do you think that you can top that?” Nadia asked smugly.
She thought that Jenna will definitely give up now. Five times more is a bit too much for even her. But she is willing to spend it just to beat Jenna in some superficial game.
“Really? Then I’ll pay eight times more!” Jenna said. She looked at Nadia provocatively.
She wants to mess with her? Then she had better bring it on! This is just the beginning!
Nadia took a deep breath. She wanted to give this up and just leave now but she stopped herself when she saw the mocking look in the sales person’s eyes.
Jenna is definitely going to laugh at her if she gives up here! And this sales person…they are all going to laugh at
her!
She didn’t want that at all!
She took a deep breath and decided to go all out.

yelled. She just could not stand back and watch her friend destroy herself just because she wants to prove herself to someone who doesn’t even know her at all!
Nadia puffed up her chest. She wants to win against Jenna at all costs.
“What? Do you think that you can top that?” Nadia asked.
Jenna smiled and shook her head. “You are really generous, paying 10 times more for these clothes….I don’t
think that I can afford it” Jenna said.
